Under the leadership of S.P. Jermain, a committed group of partners dared to challenge the status quo of the tournament, where, until that time, professional players and caddies were excluded form the clubhouse locker room. The team was led by the conviction that by fostering positive change could trigger a substantial shift in the event’s growth. Their relentless approach and hard work bore fruit, and the reimagined event ushered in a new era that recognised and respected athletes. This result laid out the groundwork for the establishment a few years later of the PGA Tour. So the use of 1920 is our nod to partnering around a bold purpose, and staying committed until you get a big enough result that changes the game forever.
